Wrote this in my 1999 Holden Commodore station wagon one day. Reflecting on the journey. A long road and climb back to get to this point. Classic beat produced by the legendary Jake One. I had to go on in this the best way I know how, which is telling my story served up with very deliberate yet effortless bars and wordplay to send the experienced listener down a rabbit hole to explore, yet easy enough to let the casual listener understand and enjoy it without being sidetracked.
